Hi! Thanks for taking the time to find out more about me and my work.

I'm a user experience designer and researcher. I have a Master’s degree in Design for Interactions from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Design. I also have a background in visual communication, with experience working as visual designer with branding and editorial design consultancies. I approach my work with a rigorous user-centred design process, and am able to draw on my skills as a visual design to deliver projects that are holistic, communicative, and polished.

I am also an educator, currently at Pearl Academy School of Design, and formerly at CMU. I teach classes in both communication design fundamentals as well as interaction design methodologies.

Have a look at my résumé to see a full history of my professional and academic career.

I am always looking for opportunities to work with organisations that are open and collaborative, tackle interesting and diverse projects, and have a commitment to positive social impact. If you'd like to collaborate with me, or just have a chat, I'd love to hear from you! You can reach me at saumya.kharbanda@gmail.com

Ask me about maps, typography, board games, or the edge-less-ness of the universe for some spirited (and sometimes silly) rants.
